How to produce a hit Korean Drama

Cast a really hot and popular male lead whom girls will go gaga over
Male lead must be rich
If you want, have a “gang of four” the male lead is the leader of
Have a totally impossible storyline with elements of “magic”
Have the “magic” scenes accompanied with strings
Ensure the female lead is reasonably beautiful but sufficiently plain so that any girl can identify with her
Female lead can be as poor as you want her to be
Throw in the disapproving mother/grandmother of the hot dude
Put in the evil other girl- often with noticeable wealth, intelligence and efforts at making herself beautiful
Some amounts of crying, often by the female lead.
